Obviously in this day and age you do not have to custom design everything because there are many, many templates already designed, that you can simply adapt to your needs.

Website Maintenance
Building your site in WordPress is just the beginning. The software keeps evolving and upgrading. You should upgrade your website accordingly. But if you don’t have time, I can do it for you, plus a whole lot more.
Maintenance & Updates
WordPress is awesome software but it is also open source software. This means that it gets regular updates. Many updates are improvements BUT many are also security updates. This is why you need to update your WordPress website regularly.
How often? I suggest at least once a month but for mission critical sites, update once a week at least!

Backups
For total peace of mind with mission critical websites I also recommend a monthly or weekly backup off-site. This is only for websites where you are doing business. Simple company sites don’t need this but Ecommerce driven websites do!
A good hosting account usually does this for you too. In fact, if you get onto our hosting we do automatically keep 14 days of backups off-server.

Oxford human rights hub
This is a huge website in terms of the content that is available. The best part is how easy I made it to search for and find all the content you want. Using categories, tags, location and a few more things, I have helped in creating a really useful legal opinion content pool that is easy to search. And the best part is that the client adds and manages their own content, exactly as it should be with a CMS like WordPress.
The Schwarma Co
This is a local restaurant whose website I have managed for some time now. This is where I have pioneered much of the food ordering process that eventually became Resto (see below). The owners will tell you that moving their takeaway orders online was the best thing that happened for their restaurant.
Good Elearning
This is beyond a doubt the biggest WordPress website I have ever worked on. Just in terms of the amount of content (with many different custom fields) it is staggering. And it is an ecommerce site (they sell IT certification courses) which has API integrations to an LMS where you do your courses (single sign-on), their CRM (salesforce) and few more things for good measure. Building this site taught me exactly how to use a CMS to it’s utmost. This one is next level!
Resto Orders
This SaaS uses a combination of WordPress multisite, a fair bit of custom coding and a custom designed mobile app, to provide a software service to restaurants, to take online orders and manage them too.
Multisite makes it easy to create new shops and to manage them (one installation essentially) while still being able to operate like individual websites (look & feel, even domain). And the Android mobile app allows the restaurant to receive and print the orders automatically. Sweet system!
